Love for Shakers!!

Hi there,
Today I have an inspirational post for you using the new releases form Papericious. If you still have not seen our January catalog you sure are missing loads of pretty things.
Here I am using the new MINI SHAKERS and  SHAKER BEADS. Also, the new release has the most prettiest papers I have come across in these years...the Gilded Onyx.
I have made a very easy birthday shaker card with Papericious sequins and Gilded Onyx paper pack.
These mini shakers are uber cute and are a must have if you love creating your own embellishments for the projects. I have made few shaker embellishments and a tag shaped shaker paper clip. I have used the papericious chalk paints to paint the mini shakers. For the tag shaped paper clip shaker I have done tissue decoupage to create some more interest.

Hope you like these. Do share with us your creations.
Till than Keep Crafting!!

Parisian Theme Altered box

Hi Friends,
I hope you all are having a great time and enjoying the winters with you loved ones. For today's post I came up with a Parisian themed altered box.

I used an old watch box and adhered the black patterned paper on all the sides. I created a white bordered square on the top of the box and then decoupaged the Eiffel Tower and the flower cluster  using the Papericious Decoupage Glue. To add some jazz and shine I mixed some iridescent glitter in the decoupage glue and used it as a top layer.

I love the result and by using few pattern papers and decoupage papers you can alter old boxes and give them a new life.
I hope you liked this post.
Happy crafting!
love

Altered Decoupaged Clocks & DIY Image Transfer On Wood

Hello everyone,
Heena here from bloomingpaperbuds.com, today I have some decoupage inspiration and an easy DIY for you all.
I had bought some inexpensive wall clocks to create altered projects and these were lying around in my craft room so I thought why not use it to decoupage, and they look so pretty!

For this clock, I have used natural white chalk paint on the base and fussy cut the image from 8 by 8 Whimsical Decoupage paper set.

I used the country grey chalk paint to paint the clock hands and the numbers.

I have distressed the clock frame for that, I used country grey chalk paint as the base coat and topped it with natural white chalk paint. I used a candle for distressing.

For this clock, I have fussy cut the image from 8 by 8 pretty peonies set and decoupaged it on the base of my clock. Doesn't get any simpler than this!

Now onto the DIY...

For this Diy, I have taken a 4 by 4 wooden box and painted the sides with Villa plum chalk paint.

Here I have taken this decoupage paper from the pretty peonies set to demonstrate the image transfer technique and trimmed it to the size of my box.

Next, Apply a generous amount of Papericious soft gloss gel where you want to transfer the image.

And place the image print side down carefully on the box. Leave it overnight. Next, use a damp towel or sponge to wet the paper and begin rubbing gently to remove the paper and expose the transferred image below. Seal it with the top coat or decoupage varnish.

Look how beautifully the image has transferred to the wood. (I rubbed a little too harshly and scrapped off a small piece of the image )

I used a background stamp and heat embossed the sides and sealed everything with decoupage varnish.

I hope you found this inspirational and give it a try!

Hello everyone,
This is Hussena and I am here to share a guest post by a very talented crafter and fellow designer.

Today's guest needs no introduction. She is a very well known crafter in the Indian craft industry. Her coloring skills are to die for, and her cards are breathtakingly beautiful! If you guessed Rajni Chawla, then, you are right :)

Here is her introduction in her own words.
I’m a passionate crafter and a mother of four lovely kids. I live in New Delhi (India) with my four kids – a daughter, a son and two cute labradors. About 3 years back, I started off in the field of crafting as a newbie. And now, thousands of projects, I can proudly say that the passion I had on the first day has just increased and increased. I eat, sleep and breath everything that has to do with crafting. My love for ART is growing with each n every project I make.

Today she is sharing with us some cards she has made using the Papericious Monochrome Paper Pack. It is a long post, so sit back, relax, grab a cup of coffee and let's get started!
